Badminton

Badminton is an immensely enjoyable racquet sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racquet so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponents’ half of the court. A rally ends once the shuttlecock has struck the ground, and the shuttlecock may only be struck once by each side before it passes over the net.

Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport played by two teams on a playing court divided by a net.The sport originated in the United States, and is now just achieving the type of popularity in the U.S. that it has received on a global basis, where it ranks behind only soccer among participation sports.Today there are more than 24 million Americans who play volleyball. There are 800 million players worldwide who play Volleyball at least once a week.

Futsal

Futsal is the only form of ‘indoor soccer’ or ‘five-a-side’ that is officially approved by FIFA and Football Federation Australia. It’s one of the fastest growing sports in the world, is played in over 100 countries and boasts millions of players around the world. The game of Futsal is played on a firm, flat surface on a court ranging in size from that of a standard basketball court. The specialfeature of the game is the unique properties of the ball, which has a low rebound. The game develops close individual ball skills as the court is small and players are forced into limited space & option scenarios.

ping pong

Table tennis, also known as ping-pong and whiff-whaff, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball, also known as the ping-pong ball, back and forth across a table using small solid rackets. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Except for the initial serve, the rules are generally as follows: players must allow a ball played toward them to bounce once on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side at least once. A point is scored when a player fails to return the ball within the rules. Play is fast and demands quick reactions. Spinning the ball alters its trajectory and limits an opponent’s options, giving the hitter a great advantage.

Aerodance

Basically aerodance is an aerobic gymnastics that is practiced by dancing with musical accompaniment. It is usually choreography based class, taught like aerobics but with all the choreography you would expect from a dance class. The perfect fusion! Test your co-ordination, have fun and get a cardio workout all in one place. When we speak of aerobics dancing, we are referring to ballet, jazz, Zumba, and so much more. They are usually called workouts with low impact because they are slow-paced compared to other aerobic workouts.

Netball

Netball is a ball sport played by two teams of seven players, usually on an indoor court, and is predominantly played by women. It is among a rare number of sports which have been created exclusively for the female sex. Netball became the sport for women because it embodied female attributes and was viewed by doctors, reformers, politicians, the media and middle class women as the best team sport for women and girls to play. In addition, netball prospered because women controlled it as their game outside of male influence.

E-Sport

ESports turns online gaming into a spectator sport. It mimics the experience of watching a professional sporting event, except instead of watching a physical event, spectators watch video gamers compete against each other. The eSports trend has become so widespread in recent years that games can often be viewed at an organized arena event. As with traditional sports, these games are broken down into competitive leagues and tournaments.

CHESS

a board game of strategic skill for two players, played on a chequered board on which each playing piece is moved according to precise rules. The object is to put the opponent’s king under a direct attack from which escape is impossible ( checkmate ). Chess training and practice supports the development of higher-order thinking skills—like problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, planning, and even creative thinking. Chess training and practice also helps improve general cognitive ability and scholastic achievement—especially in mathematics.
